Rachel Gordon - Researcher
PHD qualified social researcher with experience in the commercial sector, as well as public services, emergency response, infrastructure, safety and health.
Rachel’s experience includes ethnographic study of Highways Agency control rooms, evaluating motorway incident management in the UK.
She has also advised a major rail operator on control room monitoring and management, in terms of designing-in safety, workload management, performance and job satisfaction, and designing-out delay and risk.
Rachel’s commercial experience includes acting as Product Manager for a software company providing a grant funding database to schools. Rachel collated the most comprehensive database available in the UK and spoke at conferences to promote and train School Business Managers in the use of this system.
This role also included operational marketing planning, writing copy for web and print marketing materials and briefing designers.
Marketing Executive team
Depending on the nature of the project, we may also be working with an in-house Marketing Executive chosen for suitability for the particular work. All of our team are graduates in a marketing or related discipline (such as PR, digital media or communications) and a level of practical experience from which to draw.
